Our board member, Trip Hawkins founded Electronic Arts (arguably the most influential gaming company of all time) and Madden Football (also arguably one of the most influential franchises of all time)
Ismail Maiyegun is a Stanford University graduate in Electrical Engineering (Bachelor of Science) with a specialization in Computer Software.
He started building video games at the age of 12. His first video game was an NBA simulator written in QBasic. He credits video games as the reason for pursuing a career in software engineering & technology. His ultimate desire was to build & run a world-class video gaming company and as such, running Big Wolf has been his life long dream.
Under his leadership, Big Wolf has grown to being a 25+ person developer/publisher of games (first party & partnership) that have generated significant downloads & revenue.
He was previously Cofounder & CTO of Hingeto, a Y-Combinator backed company technology platform that sold to a multi-national company. Hingeto was backed by Kapor Capital, Andre Iguodala, Mac Venture Capital, Precursor Ventures, Comcast Ventures, Stanford-StartX & a host of other influential VCs. He's also held a Director of Engineering role at a publicly traded company and spent several years at a FinTech company as its youngest Senior Software Engineer at the time.
In his spare time, he loves to spend time with his two-year-old son & wife. His favorite sports to watch are Track & Field, Basketball & Soccer (Football)
Ahmed Siddiqui is a world-class application and network security specialist. He is a graduate of Sir Syed University with a degree in Computer Engineering (Bachelor of Science)
Prior to co-founding Big Wolf, he cut his teeth in security consulting, vulnerability assessments and penetration testing with banks, financial institutions & airlines. Ahmed has been credited with numerous bug bounties due to his uncovering of vulnerabilities in multi-national companies such as Google, Microsoft, Nokia & United Airlines. His security experience has been invaluable in building a company that is centered on digital property rights.
Under his leadership, Big Wolf has grown to being a 25+ person developer/publisher of games (first party & partnership) that have generated significant downloads & revenue.
In his spare time, he loves to spend time with his two daughters & wife. He is a lifelong cricket fan.
Trip Hawkins is a visionary entrepreneur and gaming industry pioneer, widely recognized as the founder of Electronic Arts (EA) and the mastermind behind the iconic Madden Football series. Trip's unwavering passion for technology and interactive entertainment drove him to reshape the gaming landscape as we know it today.
He is a graduate of Harvard University (BS) and Stanford University (MBA).
Trip Hawkins remains a legend in the gaming world, leaving an enduring legacy that will continue to shape the industry for generations to come.
He has previously served as a board member/coach/advisor/consultant/C-Level executive to executives & founders at companies such as Scopely (acquired for $4.9B), Skillz and KIXEYE (acquired for $90M). He currently serves in a similar capacity at a handful of companies in which he believes in the founders and leadership team are working on the next big thing and are great at executing (such as Big Wolf & Games for a Living).
At Big Wolf, Trip serves as an independent board member.
Mitch has over 15 Years of experience working in the Video Game Industry. He has worked at companies such as FunPlus, Storm8 & others. He was most recently the Lead Game Designer on Million on Mars, the NFT powered massively multiplayer resource management game. He's held Director of Game design roles at previous companies.
